Mistra company bought to address future water issues

Making water and wastewater management more sustainable is one of the major global challenges of the future. Urban Water Management Sweden AB, which originated in a Mistra programme in this area, has been bought by SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden. The company will strengthen research in the area of water and waste water.

‘This acquisition paves the way for new knowledge, innovations and increased Swedish exports in the water sector, and is of great strategic significance for the benefits we are able to deliver to public-sector stakeholders and industry,’ says SP’s Chief Executive Officer, Maria Khorsand.
