Mistra researchers contributed to historic climate deal in Paris

In December, the world’s leaders negotiated a new global climate agreement in Paris. The driving forces that matter to different countries and stakeholders, and that are at work in the various overlapping areas of the complex climate issue, were discussed from every angle. Several researchers linked to Mistra contributed, either as members of the Swedish negotiating team or by leading discussions on the importance of effective emissions trading markets. Under the historic climate agreement reached at the Paris Conference, all the countries of the world will play a part in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
